Bundle of Motion

Hi Aiden,

Your dad and I got to experience something very amazing a few nights ago. I went to the doctor on Thursday for a check up, everything was great. You are still growing pretty quickly and measuring about 5 days a head. I had some concerns because I didn't think I had felt you kicking yet. Dr Wittek (who is such a great doctor by the way) said I probably just hadn't noticed you moving and recommended I spend some quiet time each day focusing on you moving. Well that night I went to bed and tried to focus on feeling you move...and I did. You kicked, or punched, and it felt like there was a fish in my stomach. I placed my hand where I had felt it and you kicked again! I could feel it on the outside of my stomach! You must have my soccer genes :) Anyway I got very excited and went to get your dad so he could feel it too. His face lit up when he felt you. Now he asked multiple times a day if you are kicking because he wants to feel you. You are already a wonderful child and I don't even know you yet. You are such a blessing to us and we are counting down the days until we see your handsome face.

Appreciation

Hi Aiden,

I just wanted to stop by and tell you how I'm feeling today. I carry you around with me everyday and feel your tiny little movements inside my tummy but today it has been a lot more real. I have butterflies because of how excited I am for you to come into our lives.Your Daddy and I are so incredibly blessed to have you...and we haven't even met you yet. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our family and for you. I just know you are going to grow into an amazing man just like your Dad, grandpa's and great grandpa's. And I already love you more than words can even express. You are a combination of the love your Dad and I have for each other.

Hello my darling Aiden,

Last week we found out you are a healthy baby boy! Your momma was so surprised because I just "knew" you were a girl. But despite what my mother intuition said I could not be more trilled to have a precious little boy to call my own. You are our first born son-that is so incredible. We decided to name you Aiden John Leroy. The "John" has been in the Leroy family for 5 generations with your Papa being John Leroy IV and your dad being Matthew John Leroy. You are being named after some pretty cool people :)

Today we are going to register for all your gifts! I cannot wait to pick out all the things we need for your arrival (which is in less than 19 weeks!!!). You are going to be one spoiled little boy but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I wanted to tell you a little secret my sweet Aiden. Your daddy is so excited to have a son. Someone who he can teach to hunt, fish, and play catch with. You are making his dream come true to carry on the Leroy name. I just know you are going to make us such proud parents.

Talk to the Tummy

Dear precious one,

It has been a few weeks since I have written to you, but I talk to you daily. I went to the doctor to check on you last week and she said you were perfectly healthy! I am so grateful for you already. You are truly a blessing in Daddy and I's life.

There hasn't been much going on in our lives right now. Daddy is just studying and working hard with school while I am working and going to school. We are just trying to get ready for you to come into the world :) Mommy's friend Devon gave you a floor gym that you are going to love. Dakota also loves it. We have to hide it from him so he won't lay all over it. Silly dog!

Two weeks from Monday we are going back to the doctor and will get another sonogram. Please be cooperative so we can see if you are a boy or a girl. I cannot wait to see you again!

Hi my little one,

Today your Daddy and I got to see you in my tummy. You were squirming, stretching, kicking, and just moving around like crazy. I think you are going to be long like your Daddy! We also saw your heart just beating away! I have not been able to stop smiling since I saw you! I just cannot wait to hold you in 27 weeks!

First Appointment

Hello my dear,

Today I found out that I will get to meet you in 33 weeks. We will get to see a tiny picture of you and hear your heart beat in a few weeks. Mommy and Daddy are very excited about that! Keep growing in there my little one.

another new beginning

Hello little baby,

You are currently the size of a mustard seed (which is super tiny!!) and your daddy and I just found out your were growing inside my tummy. We are already so excited to meet you in 8 months...to see what you look like and to be able to hold you! But while we wait we are praying for you to be a healthy beautiful baby!

We told your Nana, Papa, Aunt Leslie, Poppie, Gigi, and Aunt Jessica about you today. They are so excited to meet you too!!! Nana and Aunt Leslie cried when we told them, they were so happy! Your Aunt Jessica is soo excited to be an aunt!

Well that's all for today little one. Keep growing :) Oh and if you could stop making Mommy sick that would be great!
